At the time you joined Netscape Online you were allocated one of the following two access numbers to dial into the Netscape Online service:

0845 088 7444 or 0845 300 1815

If you have been experiencing problems connecting to Netscape Online using your default access number you can try connecting using the other access number. You can change your access number by following the steps below.

Important: You should change your access number ONLY if you have experienced difficulties connecting using your current default number.

First, open the Launcher (by double-clicking the Netscape Online icon on your desktop) and select Dialler Settings.

In the 'Dialler Settings' window click the Properties button.

In the 'Properties' window, delete your current access number from the 'Telephone number' field and type in the new access number. Click OK.

This returns you to the 'Dialler Settings' window. Now click Cancel.

Note: If you click 'OK' in the 'Dialler Settings' window, the access number will revert back to the original setting. This is supposed to happen. Pressing Cancel at this stage ensures the Dial-Up Networking connection keeps the new number.

You are now ready to connect to Netscape Online using your new access number.
